I have a big shaggy Leonberger dog. This boy of mine is like a miniature bear to be honest about his size. With this size comes the task of keeping him looking good. I would love to take him into a pet groomer to get some ideas on how to better car for his coat and other healthcare needs.
Keeping your pet groomed and clean is just as important as it is to keep ourselves clean. No one wants to talk to someone who smells and looks like they live in a cardboard hut. That is why I always try to take my dog to the groomers twice a month, some might say that is a bit much but I say otherwise. I've had 3 dogs in my lifetime. I firmly believe that as much as animals hate being cleaning. They love the fact that there is nothing sticking to there coat. I have huskies now. Is the purpose of pet grooming to just make the animal look good? I know that they generally do pretty well at taking care of themselves. I saw a cat the other day that was shaved except for its main and tail. So awesome.
