Our Philosophy
Hopefully, our card says it all. We love dogs and cats and we have created a patient caring atmosphere to provide a stress-free experience for your pets. All pets are individuals and grooming is paced for their comfort. Only pet and earth friendly products are used.
As you probably have already heard; Nine out of ten pets surveyed prefer WellSpring Pet Grooming over any other grooming establishment.

Attack of the Fleas
Watch out. Due to all the nice hot dry weather local cats and dogs have been picking up fleas. If you've been using Frontline or Advantix—keep it up. If you don't, get yourself some pyrethrin spray that guarantees it is safe for animals and bedding and use it according to the label instructions. Avoid the "Long lasting" products containing man-made permethrin and other chemicals that are suspected to have caused severe health problems in pets as well as interactions with other pet products.
Fleas won't go away by themselves. They cause skin irritation and misery, infections, carry bacteria and disease and can give your pet worms. If your pet has fleas—so does your house. Fleas and their eggs need to be repeatedly treated. Giving your pet a flea bath won't solve the problem. Your house and pet's bedding, maybe even your yard, need to be treated. If you find yourself with an infestation, give yourself some peace of mind, stop scratching and call in licensed, certified, educated up-to-date exterminators so you can move on with your life and not develop a deep psychological fear of little black dots. (It can Happen!) I call Absolut Pest Control in Amesbury 978-388-4589, because they are knowledgeable.

Cats tend to resist grooming procedures
We're really sorry, but we've had to raise our cat grooming price.
